Loved having the whole cabin to myself, felt like a queen! Great amenities in the shared kitchen, but would've been even better with a tiny light for midnight feasts. No peeping neighbors, just a beautiful sea view.

Who needs privacy or a good night's sleep anyway? The lack of a closet with a handle and a not-so-comfortable bed really added to the rustic charm of my stay.

The location of the cottage offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside and mountains. Guests can enjoy the peacefulness and natural beauty of the area. The cottages are well-equipped with a kitchen and a porch, providing a comfortable stay.

The communication with the owner was lacking and not helpful.

Our stay at this amazing ocean-view cottage was mind-blowing! The self-check-in and check-out made it super convenient for us. The cottage was warm, clean, and comfortable, perfect for travelers like us who love self-service. The setup with the multiple cabins was so cute, and we had a blast going back and forth between them with our friends. The stunning location was jaw-dropping, with a mountain right behind us and the mesmerizing Aurora to entertain us at night. The grounds were precious, and we enjoyed meeting the friendly chickens in their coop. Táta, the adorable resident dog, was a sweetheart and insisted on playing ball with us. We can't wait to stay here again for our future Iceland trips. The weekend getaway was made even better by the great location, not far from Keflavik and with a peacefulness that Reykjavik lacks. Access to the Snaefellnes Peninsula was ideal, and we appreciated the convenience of having groceries and petrol nearby. The hosts were accommodating and even let us check in early. The little kitchen setup and comfortable space for two were perfect for a weekend. We loved the blackout shades that shielded us from the midnight sun. Though we didn't get to see the Aurora, the darkness of the location made it a great spot for it. we had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a super enjoyable and memorable stay.

This was a great location for a short weekend- not a bad drive from Keflavik, close to Reykjavik with much more peacefulness. Access to the Snaefellnes Peninsula is ideal from here. The hosts were very accommodating and let us check in a bit early. Wonderful little kitchen set up and comfortable space for two for a weekend. Appreciated the blackout shades for the midnight sun.

    Couldn't recommend more this hotel.

The location of the cottage was perfect for a short weekend getaway. It was not far from Keflavik and offered a peaceful atmosphere compared to Reykjavik. it was conveniently situated for easy access to the Snaefellnes Peninsula. the availability of groceries and petrol in town was a definite plus. the property had ample parking space , and the hosts were accommodating by allowing us to check in early. the kitchen setup was well-equipped, and the cottage provided a comfortable space for two. We especially appreciated the blackout shades that helped block out the midnight sun.

Although there were very few downsides, one thing that could be improved was the lack of lighting near the bed. It would have been convenient to have a bedside light for reading at night.

Cozy and clean cottage, accurate pictures. Easy check-in, good water pressure, and quiet location. Radiators keep the place warm. Lucky for strong Aurora night, looking forward to returning!

I had a fantastic stay at this cottage. The location was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery. The cottage itself was cozy and had everything I needed, including excellent heating. The owner was friendly and provided helpful advice about the area. The property had ample parking and was conveniently close to a supermarket for groceries.

We got great value for our money at Moar Cottage. The room was clean, comfortable, and had beautiful ocean views. The location was perfect for exploring Snaefellsnes, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Menu for breakfast could use some improvement, perhaps adding more variety or options.

The location was breathtaking with amazing surroundings. The cottage was beautiful and cozy, with a comfy bed and clean bathroom. The heating kept it warm and the tiny kitchen was convenient for preparing meals. The hosts were accommodating and allowed us to check in early. Parking was plentiful and the view in all directions was stunning.

    Not obvious to find.
